The International Commission on Dynamical Meteorology is a constituent Commission of the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS). It is composed of scientists from a wide range of countries who are committed to furthering the pursuit of and international cooperation in the science of dynamical meteorology.

Special Announcements

The next meeting was supposed to be during the joint IAMAS – IACS – IAPSO Assembly, BACO-2021 in Busan, South Korea, 18-23 July 2021. However, the meeting was cancelled due to the pandemic associated with COVID-19.

The ICDM participates in and co-organizes additional workshops on topics such as blocking and/or stochastics parameterization. Please return here for further information as plans develop. Please contact any of the ICDM officers if you are interested in participating in the planning of symposia.

ICDM promoted ‘The First TEAMx Workshop’ (Multi-scale transport and exchange processes in the atmosphere over mountains programme and experiment) in Rovereto, Italy on 28-30 August 2019. For details: click here.
